
Cranberry Sauce
Great Grandma Larson's cranberry sauce recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups cranberries
Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in large saucepan; stir to dissolve sugar.
- Heat to boiling; boil 5 minutes.
- Add fresh cranberries; cook about 5 minutes or until skins pop.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve warm or chilled.
Notes
To mold, cook 10 minutes longer or until a drop gels on cold plate. Pour into 4-cup mold. Chill firm.
