Great Grandma Larson's cranberry sauce recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cups cranberries

Instructions

  • Combine sugar and water in large saucepan; stir to dissolve sugar.
  • Heat to boiling; boil 5 minutes.
  • Add fresh cranberries; cook about 5 minutes or until skins pop.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Serve warm or chilled.

Notes

To mold, cook 10 minutes longer or until a drop gels on cold plate. Pour into 4-cup mold. Chill firm.
