
Quiche
A simple and versatile quiche recipe perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner. Features meat or vegetables and a creamy egg-cheese base, spiced with nutmeg and cayenne.

Ingredients
Egg Mixture
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 C milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- dash nutmeg
- dash cayenne
- 1 C cheese shredded
- 1 C meat & veggies chopped and mixed
Other
- 1 uncooked pie crust
Instructions
- Sauté the veggies briefly.
- Put the meat/veggie mixture on the bottom of an uncooked pie crust.
- Mix the eggs, milk, salt, nutmeg, and cayenne together to create the egg mixture.
- Add 1/2 cup of the cheese over the meat/veggie mixture in the pie crust.
- Cover the contents with the egg mixture.
- Top with the rest of the cheese (the remaining 1/2 cup).
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
