Batter
- 1 lb brown sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup coffee strong, hot
- 1 cup nuts chopped
- 1½ cups raisins soaked
Icing
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp water or enough to make thin icing
- 1 tsp vanilla
Get Recipe Ingredients
Mix all ingredients [for the batter].
Bake at 350° for 25 mins. or until done in 11½"x15" pan.
Frost with thin icing made of powdered sugar, water and vanilla as soon as cake-cookie sheet is removed from oven, (hot).
