Ingredients

Batter

  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup coffee strong, hot
  • 1 cup nuts chopped
  • cups raisins soaked

Icing

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp water or enough to make thin icing
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients [for the batter].
  • Bake at 350° for 25 mins. or until done in 11½"x15" pan.
  • Frost with thin icing made of powdered sugar, water and vanilla as soon as cake-cookie sheet is removed from oven, (hot).
