Instructions
Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
Place the egg whites in the bowl and beat until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar until the mixture is glossy.
Sift the cornflour over the mixture with the white vinegar and fold through.
Pipe or spoon the meringue mixture into a 20cm (8in) round on baking paper. Place in the oven.
Reduce the temperature to 120°C (250°F) and cook for 1 hr. Turn the oven off and allow the meringue to cool in the oven.
Top with whipped cream, fresh fruit and serve.
Notes
Tips: Make sure egg whites are at room temperature.
