
Lucile’s Favorite Dessert (Marshmallow Dessert)
Lucile’s sweet, no-bake dessert featuring a graham cracker crust, a whipped cream and pineapple-marshmallow filling, with a final sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs on top.

Ingredients
Base and Filling
- 1 lb marshmallow
- 1 cup milk
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pt whipped cream
- crushed graham crackers for base and sprinkling on top
Instructions
- Prepare a 13×9 inch pan by covering the base with crushed graham crackers.
- Dissolve the 1 lb of marshmallow in a double boiler.
- Add the 1 cup of milk to the dissolved marshmallow and cool slightly.
- Fold in the small can of crushed pineapple, pinch of salt, and 1 tsp of vanilla.
- Fold in the 1 pint of whipped cream.
- Pour the marshmallow mixture over the graham cracker base in the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the top with additional crushed graham crackers. Chill until set.
