Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
For the Crust
Cream butter and sugar.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Combine and press into a 11 inch tart pan, reserving 1/3 cup. Bake until done, about 25 minutes.
For the filling
Split the plums in half and arrange on the crust skin side up.
Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top of the plums.
Bake for 15 min.
Beat egg and cream, remove tart from oven and pour cream mixture over the top.
Combine custard mixture with fruit and pour into pre-baked crust. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
Notes
Use plums or other fruit. Test for doneness.
